Since 1990, we have rescued, raised and rehabilitated over 4000 wild mammals. In 2016, we changed our focus. We established the NWRF to support other wildlife organizations across Canada, who provide the loving, dedicated care needed to save orphaned, injured and sick baby wildlife to adulthood. NWRF donates formula, food, supplies and equipment to save rehabbers time, energy and money so they can focus on caring for the tiny babies entrusted to them by the public, people like you!

Our Mission

The National Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation aims to improve the efficiency and capacity of our wildlife rescue and rehabilitation partners by raising money for them and by providing formulas, food, supplies, equipment, and educational aides. We support organizations who rehabilitate wildlife

Wildlife organizations we support

Besides love and sympathy, animals exhibit other qualities connected with the social instincts which in us would be called moral.

Our goals

  • Increase the capacity of centres so more space is provided to wildlife for the purposes of rehabilitation. The public has a difficult time finding help for wildlife.

  • Raise over $500,000 per year

  • Promote efficiency by providing funds, quality formula, food, supplies, equipment so centers can focus on the animals.

  • Provide operational supplies to rehabbers and centres that are difficult to fund.

  • Donate quality formulas and food for healthy wildlife growth and development especially to rehabbers who cannot otherwise afford it.
