Remember a loved one and honour their memory by donating to the NWRF in their name and making a positive impact on the world they cherished. Send your information to vickie@nwrfcanada.org. We are honoured to remember loved ones who cared about animals.

Generous donations were made in loving memory of J. Christopher Toushan by Anonymous in 2022, 2023, 2024 . Christopher helped set up this charity. He loved all animals and donated his time, energy and expertise to help me create NWRF. He was generous and kind. He was wise beyond his years and shared his wisdom with the younger members of our large family. He is missed!

Karen MacPhee A generous donation was made for Karen Mac Phee by an Anonymous donor. Karen loved animals and will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit and love of animals.

John Uuldriks 1961 - 2024 A generous donation was made in memory of John by his son, Jonathan’s work mates. John was a raccoon whisperer! He rehabilitated baby and adult raccoons for years. He will be missed by so many and his friends at NWRF who had the pleasure of rehabilitating injured, sick, orphaned and habituated raccoons with him. John understood raccoons as if they were speaking to him. They were calm and happy in his presence. John used his magic to save many sick and habituated raccoons who otherwise would not have survived. Rest in peace.

Rocky Some tiny baby wild animals live hard and fast. They arrive at our doorstep needing so much care that a second chance at life is not meant to be. This was the case of Rocky the 4 week old 200 gram tiny baby raccoon received by Nancy. His sweet personality and intense struggle to live broke our hearts when his little body could no longer survive. Rest in peace Rocky, we wish you had survived to become a big healthy raccoon to return to the ravine behind the house and live a long, happy life. A generous donation was made in your honour.
